AP® courses prepare students to take an AP® Exam at the end of the year. Depending on how students do on those exams, they can earn college credit for the AP® courses they took in high school.
AP® exams are scored on a scale from 1–5. Most colleges will accept scores of 3 or higher for students to earn credit toward their bachelor’s degrees. It’s important to check with your chosen college or university for exact policies regarding AP® exams and credit.
